Church Purpose
- Shoup's Grove is organized to worship God as a fellowship of believers through reading and studying the Holy Bible as the revealed Word of God.
- To be evangelistic in spirit, extending the Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ to all of the World.
- To minister to each other and to all the world through prayer, gift and service. To provide regular opportunities for the nurturing of Christian growth through preaching, teaching and fellowship.
- To ordain and license God-called men to the Gospel Ministry.
- Baptist are a people who profess a living faith. This faith is rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ who is "the same yesterday, today, and forever." Therefore, the sole authority for faith and practice among Baptists is Jesus Christ whose will is revealed in the Holy Scriptures.
Message From our Pastor
We Invite you to join us in our services at Shoup's Grove Baptist Church. We are a Southern Baptist Church where the Word is preached, taught and sung in our music. We believe God has the answer for all your problems so you can face life head on. As a Pastor, I was called to preach the Word in 1985. I have been at Shoup's Grove Baptist Church for 24 years. My wife Blaka, and I have been married for 49 years. We have two children, seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. We owe it all to the Lord Jesus Christ.
